Philanthropy from the Donor Perspective

Date:
06/17/2010

Philanthropy is the linking of visions—both the donors’ and the institution’s vision—in a desire to make a difference. When we speak of “donor” we mean more than the individual who “writes the check.” Often, the term “donor” involves the entire family. As a member of a family involved in his mother’s vision to make a major gift to the Rhinehart Music Center at IPFW, Dr. Rhinehart has been part of this linking of visions and he will share his thoughts on making a gift that makes a difference.

Steven N. Rhinehart, MD

Dr. Rhinehart seeks to serve the needs of his patients and their families through understanding, compassion and medical excellence. He is certified as a Diplomate by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Medical Oncology. He holds an Indiana Medical License. Dr. Rhinehart is a member of the Allen County Medical Society, the American College of Physicians, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
