“A Revolution in Generosity”

Recent work within the religious fundraising community has furthered the donor-centered approach. It has also fostered new debate within the overall fundraising community about whether the person who does development work raises generous people or generous gifts as a first priority. Mark will detail the differing trajectories in these two approaches and offer insight into the religiously-motivated giver, regardless of where their gifts are directed.

Mark Vincent CEO Design Group International As the CEO of a group of consulting networks specializing in organizational development, Mark speaks frequently about the intersection of faith and money, providing innovative guidance to organizations and leaders in need of both. He is the principal writer for the bi-monthly column Depth Perception and his own Theological Muse blog, and was the founding editor of GIVING, the annual periodical of the Ecumenical Stewardship Center. He currently serves on the board of the Christian Leadership Alliance.

Cost includes a buffet lunch.  Payment (cash or check) is required at the door.  Registration begins at 11:45, Program is from Noon to 1:30.  A 48-hour cancellation is required to avoid billing.

Washington Street, at the corner of Ewing and Washington.  In respect for elderly members of the church who attend weekly events, please park in the back row or along the sides of the parking lot.  Enter the church at the new main entrance from the parking lot.
