The Northeast Indiana Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals is issuing a Call for Nominations to honor the compassion and generosity of individuals and organizations whose gifts of time, expertise, and resources have made Northeast Indiana a better place. Nominations are being solicited from the following counties: Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wabash, Wells, and Whitley. Those selected for recognition will be honored at the seventh annual Northeast Indiana National Philanthropy Day® celebration on Wednesday, November 17th at Ceruti’s in Fort Wayne.
The Outstanding Philanthropist Awards honors five individuals and organizations for exceptional commitment to the community through direct financial support, development of charitable programs, volunteering, and leadership in philanthropy that encourages others to become involved in philanthropic endeavors that benefit our community. The five categories are:
Completed nomination forms must be marked “CONFIDENTIAL” and mailed to: 2010 NPD Awards, AFP, P.O. Box 13498, Fort Wayne, IN 46869-3498.
All nominations MUST be postmarked by Friday, October 1, 2010.
Awards will be presented on November 17, 2010 at the NPD Awards Breakfast.
