AFP Northeast Indiana Chapter has issued a Call for Nominations for the 2009 Outstanding Philanthropist Awards to honor the compassion and generosity of individuals and organizations whose gifts of time, expertise, and resources have made Northeast Indiana a better place. Nominations are being solicited from the following counties: Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wabash, Wells, and Whitley. Those selected for recognition will be honored at the sixth annual Northeast Indiana National Philanthropy Day® celebration on Thursday, November 12th at the Landmark Conference and Reception Centre in Fort Wayne. · Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy (K-12)
· Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy (College)
· Outstanding Corporate Philanthropist
· Outstanding Nonprofit Leader
Completed nomination forms must be marked “CONFIDENTIAL” and mailed to: 2009 NPD Awards, AFP, PO Box 13498, Fort Wayne, IN 46869-3498. All nominations must be postmarked by Friday, September 18, 2009.
