Session Overview:
An informed, engaged and active board of directors is critical to the success of any nonprofit organization. But how do you build and maintain such a board? In this session, we’ll discuss some ideas on recruiting and training great board members.
Board members bring many skills to their position – financial, governance and leadership, for example. But for many nonprofit organizations their greatest need is fundraising success. But what role can, and should, board members play in helping nonprofits reach their fundraising goals? In this session, we will also discuss ways that well-functioning boards can help a charitable organization achieve its fundraising goals.
